Here are my two spheres! My Illustrator sphere is on the top, with my photoshop sphere below it, respectively. They both turned out well, in my opinion. Illustrator let me get a very nice bright effect, but Photoshop gave a really nice yet subtle look. I found that for doing something like this then I would prefer Illustrator. It is a bit more user friendly when creating original things as opposed to Photoshop which is better for editing something.
