My Personal Logo

This is my personal logo! I made it a sun, moon, and leaf, all combined in a circle to make one unified object. The sun shows the fun and creative side of me. The moon shows my fairly introverted ways and how when I'm with a lot of people I'm very quiet and secluded. The leaf in the middle isn't really supposed to show nature (it isn't my cup of tea), but more-so because leaves change over the time and seasons, and how I can change and grow over time! The triangles on the outside were chosen to be like that to show I can go out in all directions except backwards to find new ideas.

If you look here, you can see some of my early sketches and doodles. At this point, I really didn't know what I wanted. I wanted to see if I could incorporate my name in some way, but I found that the logos I liked the most instead just talked about me as a person as opposed to me as a name. If you look in the center, you can see what would evolve to become the final design. I liked this design from the start and found that I wasn't gonna get any better base than that.

If you look to the bottom right, you'll see my sketches of me elaborating off of the design. I early on decided to have the sun on the right and the moon on the left. The leaf design came while I was actually working on the final project (thanks to a little help from Mrs. Lofquist!)

I feel like I did a good job in finding a creative way to have myself be part of the logo without just putting in my first initial. If I were to change what I would do, then I would probably spend a little more time in the planning stages before jumping into my final design. Not that it hurt me, but it would've made the final design process much quicker

  2. I like the symbolism in your logo and how much it means. It has a lot of contrast and good colors!
