Distinguished Alumni-Melody Baker

Melody Baker was a student at ONW up until last year. As she has had some time to get used to college, she agreed to come in and talk to my class about the college experience, and what is important to know. There was a Q/A sessions held, and here are a few of the questions
Q: How has college been so far?
A: It has been an awesome experience! There is so much more freedom than high school, so it is so great to really be away from my family.
Q: What factors need to be taken when finding a school?
A: Money isn't everything. While yes, finding a school with a reasonable price is very important, also go because of the student culture, and most of all: having a good program for the major you want.
Q: How has web affected you, even in college?
A: It taught me how to preserve and deal with people who I don't always like.
Q: What are the dorms like?
A: A lot of fun! It is nice being able to have free reign
Q: Some tips?
A: Don't make bad decisions. You are there to learn. Also, don't be the kid who just keeps on asking the tiniest questions constantly.
